Juniors Summer Learn to Row

$120 per one-week session

Want to learn to row? Come join our Junior Summer Camp. This camp is for all Middle School and High Schoolers. Learn to row in a fun, non-competitive atmosphere. Not athletic? We need coxswains to steer the boat and tell the rowers what to do. All training provided. Coach Ellen Strong and Alex Moore will make sure you have a great time, make new friends and build confidence on the water. Fun, friends, and water! What could be better?

Why so does Rowing Camp start so early in the morning? During warm summer days, the wind is the calmest in the morning. The best rowing is done on flat, glassy water. If it is too windy, rowers will practice on land.

What if I don’t know how to row? This is the camp for you. Our coaches will teach you everything you need to know. No rowing experience needed.

What do I need to wear? Wear shoes you don’t mind getting wet, exercise clothes and a hat. Bring some sunscreen, too.
